Women vs men boss

I would like to hear some comments on female vs male bossology.I personally am a female and I find male bosses to be better in many ways – they are fairer, do not cultivate “pets”, do not gossip much, are more performance oriented and do not tend to micromanage unless they are control freaks (which I have not had). On the contrary, female bosses have overblown egos, are extremely sensitive to gossip and negative comments about their personae, are pathologically jealous and create an atmosphere of “girliness” – I had one colleague send our female boss Valentine cards and gifts. They are also more vindictive and even cruel (some cases relate to personal health issues and family matters).

Hey Tim, you can’t say anything about the Clinton scandal, you might have hosted HardTalk before, but I covered the Clinton scandal live on BBC, for the BBC news team and everyone on earth , who has a TV knows that.
I can’t stop laughing, you started reviewing articles on a gossip blog, by disgruntled employees. I know you are fed up with BBC tooooooooooooo.

I am a female. i grew from a entry level position to manager now. my boss who used to encourage me and recognise my effort now feels intimidated by me . why… some things he says ..”why isnt the staff looking for me” , ” i am no longer needed in this office” .. but to me he mentions i have handed the reins over to you.. but he insults me in front of junior staffs to make himself feel imprtant…he clearly has big ,,,,,,,….. problems. also not all female bosses are naggy and control freak.men do exists with those traits too. its not about the gender. its about the capability. Women are just thorough.

am so so glad to hear i’m not the only one. i am REALLY struggling with the whole female boss…i have always had them as work in marketing which is very ‘girlie’…they are a total nightmare i cant stand it…too much baggage, issues, jealousy, comments on my clothes, hair blah blah. drives me mad…am constantly in competition, constantly being watched. i can only put it down to feelings of being threatened; jealousy.

My view is a bit different from the writer. A lady is much preferred to me as a boss. See MREIC and TSD. The lady boss was an exemplary figure. She was capable to run two different companies at the same time. She has no history of gossiping around and has a kick and confidence to put through anything that comes on her way.

The newly appointed head of Corporate is young, enthusiastic and an energetic girl. I am sure she could beat most people in line with her now. She has an aroma of a rose and a confidence of a lioness. What else you expect from her more than her job..yes, she cannot transform herself to a carpenter but she knows how get a table and chair.

Lets look at the Company secretary, the all time fair lady. She is all in one to ex-MD Athif. She knows what I mean. Its clear that two of them can run the company as they did in Laamu atoll. To run a company they require a cozy air conditioned room and a queen size bed with a Carlon mattress on it. Categorically, she can be put in the same list of Monica Lewinsky and Pamela Anderson – the men motivators. what else do you expect from her..what men require is a little motivation and all are in place.

Then there comes the Queen with pungent aromatherapy smell. She is all what you need to run a company. She has the charisma to keep men smile. Yes, she is talkative but most are productive gossips. She is so active and takes willingly any leadership role given. She was rumored to the table cloth of the ex-Director Finance and Accounts. Company was in a strong financial position that time so what to say..

The fairy who flew all the way from Auction centre to head office is next in line. She is so capable of handling staff related issues. Although kept in a glass cage, to protect from testosterone freaks in HR, she could perform magic when it comes to issues related to employees. She vows silence in most cases and works very hard sometimes if she sees any advantage to herself in it. Isn’t it human? Don’t call her selfish for getting five to six promotions annually.

For the rest of Bosses are all male bosses including the head boss, Nafaa Naseem. What do we get from him. The profit and company reputation is declining while the trust we cultivated in our customers and Banks are in question. The man has no guts to take company to new horizons and all we have are getting fed up to the corrupted.
