100th Article: MD Isthiufaa

The blog celeberating its first century on published article by calling the present MDs’ resignation.
This was decided with reffering to many thoughts brought up in by many staff and shareholders in many occasions. The most significant factors noted were; availabilty or attendance, commitment, development factor, selfless,know- how of the companys’ field of work, etc.. were lowest scored.
The highest scored was on negative factors like; hudhumuhuthaarukan, importance of co- staff, oral communication (street language frequently used), abusing of companys’ resources and MONEY, extra-curricular activities (so called official buisness trip), etc..

MTCC has to take an action now . One way or the other, he has to be replaced. This is not Villa but this is MTCC, a public company.

Thanks to those contrubuted to this blog and request to contribute more. Keep in mind you responsible for for your action. Lets join together for a better MTCC. May Allah bless you all.

Women vs men boss

I would like to hear some comments on female vs male bossology.I personally am a female and I find male bosses to be better in many ways – they are fairer, do not cultivate “pets”, do not gossip much, are more performance oriented and do not tend to micromanage unless they are control freaks (which I have not had). On the contrary, female bosses have overblown egos, are extremely sensitive to gossip and negative comments about their personae, are pathologically jealous and create an atmosphere of “girliness” – I had one colleague send our female boss Valentine cards and gifts. They are also more vindictive and even cruel (some cases relate to personal health issues and family matters).

MTCCs’ BOARD TO BE RESPONSIBLE

Negligence of the board of directors is the main reason of the down fall of MTCC. Why? Here area some of many reasons;
• No feasibility studies were done to commit on some of the most costly projects. (TSD- Mid province transportation, MREIC- mission and vision, stc…)
• NO updated business plan in hand
• A budget without a business plan
• Committees: most committees has a board director who has no time.
• Directors with no intention to develop and maintain the company’s growth
• Too many unnecessary jobs with un reasonable salaries (too many deputy directors)
• NO Accountability. (untouchable MD)
• NO Money in the company
