It’s been a culture of some of the senior members of MTCC’s top management, to misuse their power and disrespect themselves. Little did they knew that, the very purpose they had been appointed to head a dept, is to manage the company’s resources in the most efficient and productive manner so as to eliminate waste and increase the end product. The current situation of the company speaks for itself………the lack of moral soundness and negligence toward performing the duties of the senior management has taken its toll. It seems as if each department is independent of the rest rather that dependent on one another. There’s no organization within the department and even the staffs at the lower end of the structural hierarchy works as if he/she is his/her own boss and performs as they pleases. Why wouldn’t they? … The head of department doesn’t care and doesn’t give a damn. Financially we have never been in such a bleak situation as, even the salary of the staffs are being paid out from money over drawn on 5% interest. Yet the recent shuffle of the head of departments shows that we are in for a more desolate future rather than towards the bed of roses everyone was hoping for.
Though we were in this barren situation, the only Director in MTCC has his home renovated recently, I would say BY Mtcc. Surprised? . . . . . .It’s true. Instruction was given to the maintenance dept to deploy all its labor force to his beloved house, and would you believe during official working hours to carry out the said renovation. Work starts everyday at around 8 am and continued for around a week or so. All the maintenance works of the company were put on halt until this “GANDUVARU” was done and ready. He also has his own personal supervisor, again a MTCC staff, relieved from his official duties just to supervise the work carried out by the maintenance staffs. The said supervisor, also Mr. Director’s own personal PEON, would you believe has to perform errands for MR. Directors wife as well. Namely depositing and encashing the first lady’s personal cheques etc during office working hours.
We cannot tolerate such corruption and misuse of company resources. Incompetent and negligent head of departments should be dethroned from their posts while competent, educated and hardworking staffs should be given a chance to prove themselves.
