    Regarding Insurance, commented by emtyseesee.

I don’t think changing insurance company is a problem the only problem here is the package chosen by MTCC and also not providing proper information to employees.

Furthermore, change must always be better change. I believe Amana Takaful Card is more widely accepted (it includes Srilanka)than allied . Therefore if MTCC choses a better package (currently available in Amana Thakaful) i think every employee will be delighted. I also founds out that Amana Takaful is payback the surplus after the end of each year. Did MTCC inform it to us. Who will receive that benefit, employee or MTCC?

I heard that senior officials of MTCC informed that the package chosen was the best package of Amana Takaful (same as wataniyya. I don’t think this is a correct statement or a fact. Because Wataniya package also accepts Amana takaful insurance card for outpatient consultancy (ADK & IGMH etc).

Therefore, HR must review the insurance policy and should consider these reasons.

since we are having doubts about the competency of our HR dept, does anyone know the real reason why the contract made with Allied insurance was not renewed and a new contract with Amana Takaful was made? I believe some of us would have some vague ideas while a few would have been a part of this transition. i heard that the main reason was a dearer insurance premium offered by the Allied compared to the last term, though no one knows by how much the premium was inflated.

Yeah, the new card looks stunning from the looks of it, but compared to the previous insurance package, it sure isn’t good enough. It might be true that the new insurance package offered to us by Allied be a weaker package compare to the the one offered by Amana Takaful, but were we informed or communicated by HR regarding the differences?

i guess its the duty of the HR dept to make all the staffs aware of the differences and communicate the reasons why the comapany choose to go for Amana takaful.

I totally agree with your opinion, hope someone would take a possitive action on this matter. Recently, I was in a middle of a conversation bout the matter of OT. Everybody in the crowd believe that their salary will be less than before. My consideration was not only about the pay but why would HR implement on change of work time wihout addressing the way to calculate salary.
Again, I wish HR will listen and take action before something bad happens.
    Build our trust for better.
