On the eve of the 9th anniversary as an early embracer of employee development programs in the country , yesterday named Mr. Hussain Shaheed and Ms. Hawwa Huzaima as Human Resource Select Committee members. It is believed Mr Shaheed replaces Mr. Ibrahim Abdul Rahman and Ms. Huzaima replaces Ms. Abida Rasheed, in an attempt to revitalise the employ development program.
MTCC Blog has obtained information from a source familiar with the development, that this is in line with Mr. Naseem’s management realignment initiative, which will deliver on MTCC’s core strengths.
Employee development at MTCC is the brain child of the former managing director, MR. Bandhu Saleem, who envisioned young talent at the forefront of the company within a decade or so.
But it believed Mr Bandhu’s vision is in peril largely due to mishandling of the employee development program.

Since incorporation, MTCC’s speed boat unit had never been profitable except for a year or two during the distant past. Has the management ever bothered to investigate why?. If the management had taken the matter seriously and managed it responsibly, there would be no reason why the speed boat transportation would prove to be such a loss for all these years. Surely the management was aware or maybe they are just so ignorant and negligent they never bothered. More
