These days the hottest story in the company is about a special envoy to the acting MD. This envoy has called for a meeting to all contracting stake holders but could not carry out due to lack of support. Some said who and under what authority?
As soon as I heard this news I thought to check for the meaning of envoy which is;.
1. A representative of a government who is sent on a special diplomatic mission.
2. A minister plenipotentiary assigned to a foreign embassy, ranking next below the ambassador.
3. A messenger; an agent
Referring to the meaning, it could only be a rumor since no one at this capacity has joined MTCC. So who are they referring to? Why?

In a recenetly held senior management meeting the following were discused:
to reduce fixed OT
restructure
re-do business plan
to revise phone allowance
to cut site allowance
Majority of the oldies rejected on elimination of so called fixed OT which is not a provision to those who do not even attend to office after hours or even on saturdays. if you do not believe just follow this matter and seak for the truth. Contact them or visit them to find out how much they deserve for the fixed OT. No one should be paid a fixed OT which they even get when they are on leave. Small boys perspires or expires while the big ones party.
Re-structure- the person who failed to manage a section of department was allocated for much risky task for MTCC.
Business Plan: with new MD new vission, wonder how realistic this would be!!!
Phone allowances: may change to Wathaniyya since they are offering a really good package for the seniors. This will be accepted without any hesitation.
Site allownce: those ED and Contracting staff who get site allowance may be deducted after a salary increment. What a joke right. Doesn’t anybody in SM knows that there is a salary structure!!! evaluate first.
I will leave you guys to comment and provide additional information on the subjects mentioned.

Some says, during Nafa Mr.S.Engineer was transferred from the contracting to MREIC due to political pressure caused by the present HOD of the contracting. Few disagree on this and according to those Sheed did not perform well so Nafa wanted him to be removed .Anyway, now Nafa has gone , and acting MD Sappe wanted to disclose MREIC. Sheed has lost his mind and like a watch dog he is guarding MD office.
This guy has not done much to the company. Failed almost all the projects those he monitored. Began with laamu thundi harbour which was one of the most draging projects with so many completion date..Laamu housing was again a slap on his face by the sub contractor who ran away with everything. In Laamu sewerage project, he has travel much time to get material which has also failed. His boy doesn’t even know the completion date of this project.
Following Sappe as a shadow is one thing he is very good at. MRF 1000.00/day earned by him must be deducted to MD secretary salary since his responsibilities have diminished.
He is trying to move to Directors cabin so he could be closer to the MD. He personally believes he will be promoted to deputy Managing directors’ post. Today he will be moving to the fifth floor, lets see what will happen next……
